Replace upper rear hatch (1 Viewer)

Does anyone know how to replace the rear hatch of the Fzj80's. i know how to remove the bolts and the washer hookup but unable to locate the wire connector. Is it inside the headliner or the hatch? The 93-95 model is what I'm inquiring about.

The connector is above the headliner.

You will need to remove the driver side rear most seat belt upper D pillar bolt, remove the plastic pillar cover, pull down the upper LH corner section if weather strip, and then carefully drop that corner if the headliner down just far enough to pull the wire connectors down.

Are you replacing a hatch with third brake light with a hatch that also has the third brake light?
