I used that same exact wrap on my rear quarter windows, just for an interesting experiment:

The color is close but not exactly the same, the metallic pearl is different. It's easy to put on though, it goes on dry. Make sure you get one of those felt tipped squeegees and a sharp knife.

I tried to plug the holes but nothing looked good with wrap over it. So I put the wrap on over the holes and love how it turned out. Time will tell if it holds up with nothing blocking the holes.

In person, you can only see the vinyl if you’re really looking for it.

Heh... Looks like you and I also bought the same exact install kit.

Did you hit the wrap with some heat after you applied? I read that it was supposed to "set" the adhesive and make it stick better.

I just utilized good ole AZ sunshine.

Just curious how it's held up. I'm really interested in getting rid of these things and don't want to pay for the body work. The local vinyl place didn't think it would hold up well.

It has held up amazing. Still can’t tell it’s there unless you really look. Since install It’s been caked in mud, submerged in very deep water and even pressure washed. Highly recommend.

In the US the 20/21 heritage edition is the only way to get no door rub strips from the factory. They have a different door skin with no underlying holes.
