Contemplating doing some queued up jobs, notably accessing the defective airbox, on my 80 plus some other dash related things, and before I get stuck into removing the dash entirely I would like to know if there are any tips/tricks involved or if it's just a straightforward task?

It's RHD but I don't see that matters.

Your vehicle model year? I’ve only ever removed a couple 93-94 dashes and have done zero installs. It’s a rather tedious task but nothing tricky about it.

You won't need to remove the entire dash to reach the airbox. Glove box, supports, and center dash components if memory serves. Noting too difficult, just a bit tedious.

3/92 - the older style dash.
