So, my spoiler got damaged by a failing garage door, making it cosmetically even less cool to look at than before. Removal was a cinch but I now have these 4 holes (with the bolts still in them to keep the water out).

What is everyone else doing about these holes after spoiler removal? Is there an easy (read affordable) way to clean this up and make it look stock? I have never done any body/paint work before. OR, is there a bad-ass aftermarket something cool I can bolt into these holes? I don't do much hard-core adventuring but there is a lot of camping up jeep roads all summer long. Any pictures of how cool your s*** looks now would be appreciated.

I may be able to get a little bit of reimbursement from the garage door incident but it wouldn't be more than the $100 it would take me to get another spoiler— which I don't want as it looks cooler without it I think.

Thanks for your advice gents!

^^This and clean the paint with some mild clear-coat compound and then wax. My truck is silver so the bolt heads kinda blend in. Looks better to me than a spoiler.

I should really get rid of my ugly spoiler too... interested to hear what you come up with...

Just a word of caution...Because I'm at least a part time knucklehead I attempted to remove these bolts with a power screwdriver. I ended up spinning two of the nutserts which made the removal of the air deflector way more interesting than it should have been.

If she were my truck, I'd find some metric Allen-head set screws, coat them with silicone rtv, and install them flush with the nut-serts.

I'd finish with a little touch up paint.

You will find a much dirtier rear window in bad weather without the spoiler.

Contemplating a ladder mount to access my frontrunner...I suppose that might take a bit of design to determine feasibility. Thoughts?

Is that a rubber washer under the head of that clip? How tight of a fit is it?

they're just like the plastic clips you use to hold on door panels and such - all ABS - yes holds tight so far, and for couple bucks easy enough to replace if ever lose one

Love the idea of lights, but i have those exact ones on my FJ62 and boy do branches get jammed in them;).

Going to low profile, almost flush mount for my 100

Exactly what I did, and my truck is the same color. You'd have to know it wasn't factory to notice.

I'll try and post pics tomorrow.
