Remove front drive shaft, better mileage??

How much of an increase in around town fuel mileage might I expect to gain by removing my front drive shaft?

Your front axle will still turn unless you also buy locking hubs. So.... not much.

With the DS removed, you lose ABS when you have the CDL locked, it doesn't matter if you have the hubs locked or unlocked.

unlesss you unlock the hubs the abs would still work so it could be done with a harness mod

Mmm... if you think 1mpg is great news, sell it and buy a car that is factory 2wd with good fuel efficiency. Corolla or Camry spring to mind.
