Jesse flipped the Runner this morning. Thank God she was belted in and ok.

oh, geez, glad she's ok. kid #2 gets her license in 2 months, and #3 gets her permit in a few weeks. I dread threads with titles like these. So glad it wasn't worse. Cars are just things that can be replaced. Loved ones, not so...

Damn John that looks scary. Glad she isn't wasn't hurt, I sure she will be sore in a day or two. Was the wet road the reason? Just put a set of Michelins on my third generation 4Runner yesterday. On the four year old Toyos the front two tires were separating on edge of the thread. Just got back from a short trip out of town and doing a U turn after checking the mail one side popped and cracked. Inspecting the other tires I found another crack. So not only wear your seatbelts be sure your tires are at the proper pressure and in good shape. Hate to think what would have happened if it let go at seventy-five MPH.

Heart stopper I am sure. Thank God she's ok!,
Great reminder for everyone

This was only at 20-25 MPH amazing... Combination of slick road and lack of experience.
I just started relaxing about my first kid driving, go think.
Rob, good luck without being terrified when they are on the road we always have worried about it, you are not alone.

Yikes!

I'm glad there were no injuries.

Vehicles have come along over the years and only getting better. While second hand cars usually don't have the latest safety features they are a lot safer then what most of us drove as kids. Just wish they had a cell phone that only 911 worked if the GPS sensed the phone was moving more then five MPH. But instead they are making vehicles with built-in WiFi. Still haven't figured out why a personal vehicle needs to have internet excess. To me the cons out weight the pros.

I don't have kids and the pic still terrifies me

although I do wonder what that shopping bag in front of the radiator is :hhmm:

Courtesy of one of the PCSO officers. Helped us with the clean up. Seems like everything inside the rig was tossed out the windows, with exception of our daughter, thank God.
Hats off to Pinal County Sheriff's Dept., and the Oracle Fire Dept. Just a great group. And to Toyota for building a rig to keep it's passengers safe. (My sister-in-law also owes her life to a '98 4runner).

Sad to see this one go, but under the circumstances I am cool with it and going to be shopping for another 3rd generation as soon as the insurance settles. Thanks Guys.

Been there, no fun but she will be a better driver because of it. In a rollover, having the windows up can be a limb saver. The urge to stick an arm out is strong.

Yikes, so glad to hear she's OK. My boy is on the verge of getting his license and it freaks me out thinking about it.

Is that the 99 you were looking at? Looks real clean

Yup, it is. '99 with the 3.4L. Has 227k on the odometer. Impressed with the extra goodies that come with the LTD package.

Seems like all the clean third generations out there are snapped up within 24 hours. Luckily, I was the first caller on this one and sweet talked the owner into holding it.
Wish it were 4WD and white, but this will fill the need.
