Tyler go to Amando's Web site to see a crusier with 36 swampers on it.
www.yourphoto.com. Look in the Curise Moab 2004 phots. Look at the fine 80's with 33, 35's having fun in moab, on page 21(cmo21) is my old truck with 36 swampers on 10 inch rims, 3.5 back spacing. This was with a 6 inch lift, a 4 inch rear bump stop drop in the rear, with nothing in front for extra bump stop. These pictures are at the golden crack, upper section. Swampers are not a daily driving tire, the suck for every thing but wheeling.
I would personally not run a 10 inch rim with 36 swampers and not expect to take off the fender flares with a 4 inch lift. I lost some height in the rear springs(settlement) and Had to put a small spacer to allow the swampers to work again with out taking the fender flares off.'
Darin in OZ loved to run the 36/13 swamper in OZ on the stock 8" rim but I can not remember what lift he was running.
Bias ply tires will flat spot in the morning, and rattle the truck to death for the first 15-20 minutes of driving until they warm up.
How much lift on the cruiser with 37's FJ40m4?
Pat Takish took a 80 wtih his custom 6 inch lift with 37's on it and it did great. His truck had 4.88 (i beleive) and a supercharger. What a great truck. Christo has some picutres on his web site of that trip and his truck. good luck on your choice, its only money. later robbie
