recharged the a/c today and it works!

a great local mechanic who had the forsight to stock-up on freon many years back. he sells it at $50.00/lb for his good customers and $75.00/lb for everyone else. fortunately my system checked-out so the labor was minimal. of course i'm in seattle so i won't enjoy except for two weeks in august but bring on the heat, baby


-1 ½ lbs freon? $82.00
-a/c oil dye? $20.00
-a/c service (evacuate, recover, recharge & check for leaks)? $108.00
-driving around cool and comfortable? priceless!
