I don't see the "Curtain-Shield Airbag (CSA) Control Module" on this, or it's not labeled. I am worried there are several controllers and the one that is broken is not the one they are replacing.

I browsed through the other notes and thought about how rough my dirt road can be. Perhaps it's best it's been "off" because of an issue of some kind. Anyone ever heard of one going off on a waterbreak or something? My drive way has a few of these, call it a speedbump on steroids where I can't get the pitch right...

I thought all the reports were right at start-up, not during driving.

Curtain shield airbag sensor/control module is located in the pillar and is attached to the seatbelt pretensioner ( I found it in the FSM). There is one on each side, and also one on each side in the 3rd row area. But the main ECU for airbags resides in the front of the center console just under the cassette deck. I believe this is what they are changing in the recall.

Just dropped my LX off this morning. The nice thing about driving a lexus- you get a pretty sweet loaner if you ever have to take yours in to the dealer for service. 2016 RX350 is my rig for the day. My mind is reeling from all the doo-dads in this thing...:hmm:
