I think that was me he sold it to. You should be able to get a new mirror cut for that frame at any glass shop.

Mirror glass thats eazy ....The rear view mirror I bought with windshild frame did not have any glass was going to have one made anyway ...the broken part was the bracket, and the mirror head was a no show ! :crybaby:
I could weld some nut zerts into the frame ( Say No to sheet metal screws! )and use a two bolt from a 68 and later I have one of them..... I was tring to keep it looking 66 ish  so far this has been on of the hardest part to come up with  JC

This is what I bought

The windshild frame was rust free and stright except where the mirror was crushen in it left a2"x3" dent in it

oh snap :frown:

there is another style as well. My 1964 FJ40 has the third style.

I know, crappy pic but you can see that it is different than the one above.

No it won't fit, I have one of those on my '63 FJ40 and already tried to put it on my '65 FJ45. That sucks, it took me quite a while to find the one I have, FWIW, the mirror doesn't hang down far enough and I can only see about 100 feet behind me. The later two-bolt might be a better option.

Any chance you want to part with a wiper motor?

I'v got an  I have some 3/16 " x 2" steel plate cut a 3" piece drill and counter sink for pan had bolts to bolt up to the three bolt 66 windshild frame, and drill and tap the plate for a later two bolt RVM (RVM adapter plate) and not to screw up a near perfact windshild frame and not to hold up the painter, and when I git ahold of the right RVM I'll be good to GO ! what's you think ;p JC

I'll try pick up some pan head bolts to fab one one up this weekend I'll post  up picts...JC

If you're gonna do that, might as well fab for the 78 and newer mirror with the day/night feature. That's what I did on my 64lwb. I like having a 'real' mirror more than having the 'right' mirror. It's a safety thing.;)
