Got a diamond plate to replace rhe steel plate in the bed. Will restore the tray a bit.

I have been trying to see if perhaps it would be a good idea to switch to some led lights for my truck. Maaan, there are so many out there! Does anyone have any experience with any of them? and what can they recommend?
In the interim, I will tackle teh LCE header and report/ post pics on that when complete.
Cheers.

Working on the last couple tasks at hand. Got some halla micro de that I had laying around installed. Replaced all of my coolant hoses, currently working on the lce header and exhaust. Also tool care of my heater blower resistor, now all positions work. Then on to my old man emu rears and front ball joints. Still a bit more work to do. Only got a couple pics.

what do you think about the header?
im kinda on the fence still.
wish Downey still sold.

Ok, so I just took it for a spin...no mufler, just header and cat. Sounds really loud. I have to get my muffler on, need to do some more fabbing.
Header is top notch quality, fits perfectly. I like the length of pipe and the flanges provided to allow for proper fitment of the cat, position wise, front to back. So far, super happy with it. Waiting to see what it'll sound like fully complete. I have yet to see if there's an improvement in power. Will advise.

Oh, lead time and shipping was immediate. Got it in like 4 days from AZ to NY

Alright boys and girls. Lspv delete is done! With the wilwood manual valve, there is a 52% reduction in braking in the back. Ok on asphalt but on gravel and wet, rears lock up. This is with the valve fully closed. I guess a 75% reduction would be more adequate. Will drive around to see how she behaves.

Love my awesome brakes...is all I can say. I recommend this mod, but again, at your own risk, lol!!

Tried to get my rear springs installed, pfffttt, the u bolt nuts are so corroded, no socket fits. Ordered some new ones and will have this sorted in no time.

Guys, gotta ask, one of you must know. There's a damn metalic ting, ting, biding, ringing from the exhaust....maybe, not sure where from, but it's annoying as hell. Anyone have a clue what it could be? Was there before my new exhaust. Am I missing something here. Sounds like washers in a can sort of noise, only under hard accell. Will try posting a video.

it's not actual pinging (predetonation) is it?

Doesn't sound like pinging no. The timing is spot on, on this thing. As far as I know the timing being off could cause pinging. Anyone have experience with a webber and different timing that they can advise on?? Truck runs real well, idles great.

Got the ome on the back. Looks like s***. WTF! I gotta get longer shocks, new bumpstops, and possibly jack up the front as high as it's gonna go. Or shall I remove a leaf or two from the pack??

I had the same issue. I removed the shortest over load spring, and the first main leaf (bottom most). It dropped the rear a couple inches.

What are the specs on the springs, no-lift, lift, how much?
It said 2" lift, and with the amount of leaves, I'm thinking heavy duty. The truth is it's lifted the rear up by at least 4 inches. Drives like s***, twitchy steering, and I can't see s*** at night anymore. I'm gonna try to jack up the front by torquing the bars, but I was thinking exactly what @ttrmike said, remove the first main at bott9m of pack, and the shortest overload leaf. I'm just not sure if there is enough thread on the new ome u bolts. My spring bumper fell apart when I took them off, so I lost a bit of the bolt length there.
Also, can the center bolt be reused with the removal of the two leaves, or am I looking at new center bolts??
