It's time. I purchased this 80 7 years ago basically ready to go, all I've really done is wheels/tires (maintenance obviously) and enjoyed it! Not sure what is currently on it but the bushings are shot and one is bent now, looking to replace. Not interested in cheap, looking for the best. Sitting on 37's with 5.29's, triple locked, OME suspension, SLEE front arms, lots of armor and goodies on the outside (snorkel was on it, not a fan). This is my backwoods/hunting machine and only sees about 1500 miles a year, but I do drive highways to get places sometimes 50 miles at speed (75mph). Plan is to start replacing most if not all suspension, I need a rig that can ralley through the backwoods roads and still GET IT in the nasty stuff!

nice rig!
Landtank stuff is good too.

Thanks for the replies, also wondering what everyone is doing for rear sway links? Just running stock stuff? It's on drop brackets so still factory length links

I used all stock parts but I cut the links in half and sleeved them longer. Works for me.

it’s not that sexy but I just welded 3/16” angle iron to my lower control arms and threw in febest bushings in. It’s been pretty bomb proof for the last couple of years
I did something similar. Works well and is budget friendly.
The nice thing is you can keep your good one and it will work as a spare.
If you go custom the length won’t match.

I have made a few sets of rear lowers that are the best out there imo. I ran metaltechs for a long time, but the poly bushing is too stiff and the Johnny joint runs out of travel. They would constantly loosen up because of this and the threads eventually got destroyed . So I made these out of .250 wall DOM tube with a Johnny joint on one end and oem bushing on the other. Much better having adjustability, and they are extremely strong.
