Hey all,
The front drains in the sunroof channel are easy to find...

BUT...Has anyone figuredOut where the two REAR tubes dump to?
I’m referring to these that are hidden inside, backhander the roof:

Asking because I can’t get to them from the top...so thinking about where they exit somewhere below.

Anyone?
Thanks!

I grabbed this image from one of the members here a couple of weeks ago, so that I'd know what was behind the interior. If the drains are the red and green tubes, it looks like they go to or near the wheel well? (Download and embiggen to see more clearly.)

On my former '13 the hose runs down the c pillar and then runs down between the inner and outer sheet metal.

Blue hose on the driver's side and pink passenger side maybe?

Assuming the pink hose is indeed what your looking for, here is another angle for your viewing pleasure from when I had my rear side panel taken apart.

It looks like it goes under the jack?

I think you are right. One on each side. I almost feel like I recall seeing the outlet up underneath the bumper.

Thanks for responses&photos, fellas.

Main/major leak ends up running g down B pillar. I think I see the drain on right rear to the rear of that wheel well, but still looking for the left rear.

Will keep at it...

Meanwhile...

Trying to find a replacement sunroof liner/seal. Doesn’t seem to exist as it’s own part.... :-/

If anyone can identify a source for the seal that mounts on the outer edge of the sunroof glass ... really need to replace it somehow.

hardest part is getting the glass out. Easy job

Was this the source of your leak a few months back?

I now believe it was...although the RR was also not properly sealed.

Mark, I have this sitting here. I’m 200-less at the moment so if you want it, just PM me. Call it $25 shipped, but I likely won’t get it out until early next week. If you want to source elsewhere or more quickly, no worries.

Hope you get that sorted. Water in the car is no fun.

Is that the seal that you can see from the outside...that goes around the edge of the sunroof glass? The glass edge surround is the part I’m after.

If you have any pointers/tips re the glass... I’ll be all ears. :)

I removed the glass out through the roof. As I recall you lift it up, remove the accordion plastic pieces (they clip in and out) and then there were torx bolts. I put a towel on the roof to wiggle it out. Looking back you MIGHT be able to angle it inside the cab... but I would get a pair of helping hands to make it easier. The seal just pops off and on no problem. When reinstalling I dropped the glass back down and then fine tuned the alignment in the hole.
