First off, let me thank all of those who had postings on here to help me figure out the best way to do this. After removing the transmission and transfer case (one man, used a borrowed transmission jack), then dropping the oil pan using the bottle jack against the frame and a 2x4 on the pan trick, I was able to loosen the 4 bolts holding the cap, pop out the old seal and drop in a new one. No beating on the seal, slid on easily. Thought I would post up a few pictures, when I was looking into how to do this there were a couple pictures that almost told the story, I figured I would help complete that picture.

Then again, I am sure somewhere these may exist, just outside my searching abilities. Hope this may help someone!

So, when you put the main cap back up, did you use any sealant on it as directed in the FSM?

Sealant - not yet, just threw it in there to get a pic. Called it a night, have to go to the store tomorrow to get the sealant for that, as well as for the oil pan (using your post for that one).

Yep, having the engine out and flipped over would make this much easier :)

I may be pm'ing you shortly. I am thinking on fixing my rear main and will have some ? that you might be able to answer. I'm sick of the leaking crap.
