Rear locks not working in the cold... Also the blinker lights when locked.....

Hello everyone! I havea 2007 LC and it is about 27 degress outside. Not really bad at all. Especially for a LandCruiser lol.
Today the rear power locks would not work when I used the key fob... W would have blamed the temperature but its not really cold so I cant believe in 50 years Toyota wouldve made a better solenoid...
Also very strange to me is that when I pressed lock, the turn signal lights didnt work but the front doors did lock...
I brought it to a heated garage. In ten minutes the lights started flashing when I pressed lock as they normally do.. In 15 minutes the rear locks started working... Can anyone explain this... They couldnt have both failed at once and both fixed when heated... Thoughts please guys. Thanks, Graham

That's strange. If it was like 5 degrees out I could maybe see that problem but 27 is not that cold. How many miles on your Lexus?

unless you have moister in or around the controls that freeze ... maybe locking the controls up?

Is there any sort of aftermarket alarm or remote start installed?
It seems these days every component of a vehicle has its own ECU. I wonder if the locks are controlled by their own ecu?

Thanks everyone. I have 2 other major questions that I will post after this freakin cold in the wayyy North Finland. (Im just as slow so dont mind my response time lol...)
The rear locks stopped working at -2 celcius, thats about 29 degrees in America. I am shocked.. A 100K LandCruiser cant keep its rear door lcks working on a 2007 vehicle beyond 29 degrees.. Really... Toyota wants to just change the lock actuators. Really 2 below n they fail... In a 100k LC...
I am talking about as you all know a 100,000 dollar vehicle failing after 6 yeras. WTF... Is that how they make them nowadays... Please pay attention to all else that failed this week..... Never happened with my FJ 62... Sad,.. I will elaborate in my posts in a few mins.. Thanks guys!!

I had to replace two door lock actuators in my Camry and one in my GX. They stopped responding to the remote but would still work with the key. An intermittent problem but I seem to remember them being "stickier" in the cold.

I had to unplug my cargo door light sensor. In cold weather the truck would think the door was open. Driving around at nighttime with the interior lights on was not fun. Must be a cold weather electrical issue that seems to be at fault with these things.
