rear lockers (2 Viewers)

might be time to start thinking about rear lockers. would love some factory cable lockers, but I think you need the matching axle shafts. would prefer selectable lockers but probably would be ok with auto for the rear. thoughts? opinions on types? Go ;)

You can have them cut longer splines on your axle, or you used to be able to. Grind part of the housing and you are good to go.
 
I have cable lockers in two of my cruisers and elockers in two others. While the cable lockers are super rad. The Eatons are an EASY button since the cable parts are hard to find. I put Eatons in my 70 series using a factory switch and powered them with a factory AUX fuse box.

I have Eaton in just the rear.
Had local transmission pros install the hardware but I did the wiring with factory switch.
Locker runs off my 12V fusebox… rest of truck is 24V.
 
I went to an old school shop that does transmissions and diffs.
I did not think to provide them with sections of the FSM.
One guy got it done in a few hours, no problems.
