WTB the rear heater for a 1980 model year FJ40 . The top is more square shaped than rectangular. There is no plastic console.

I think I have one left.

I tried calling today. I will call again tomorrow

Thanks for the call. I looked at the heaters I could easily find and saw none of your type. I may have lost them in the warehouse fire.

Thx anyway. I am sure you have something in your goody pile I will need eventually.

Like these "154-20CU"

Here is the type you are looking for, this one is from a 55, the difference

is that 55's have a slight dent in the floor pan to fit the bottom of the heater motor. To make this work in a 40 you would have to have 1/2" spacers under the feet. This one is for sale. PM if interested. Thanks, John

I have a heater from a 1980 if you are interested with the plastic center console cover as well. Please pm me.

Interesting, have a 72/73 FJ55 rear heater that has four feet. Don't believe it has the expanded area where the motor is. The one pictured the feet are also spot welded on the reverse direction if not other different feet for a FJ40. I'm about 150 miles away from my box with rear heaters.

While it could work pretty easy in a 79/80 with the console yours would be a 81 model or later.

My heater came out of a 1980 parts truck, not sure of the month it was manufactured offhand, but it was 100% a 1980 truck

Should I try to clip on a bottom of an FJ40 earlier heater? the radiators are the same size. Maybe they just changed the shape of the top? John

Sorry..... I look and don't see.I read and don't comprehend. Yes please see if you can clip on the bottom. Thanks
