just replaced the rear hatch struts, because they only work when it is warm...but anyway, got them from liftsupportsdepot.com i actually got them on ebay, but they have a store. anyway. thay are made by Sachs, and a direct easy fit. they work wayyyyyyyy better and are awesome. the best part is they wereless than 40 bucks! and after you are done you take the OEM struts and do the hood shock conversion which i did a long time ago and love that also.

p.s. anyone need a set of oem struts...

Got any part #'s for this upgrade ?

hatch struts

I just ordered mine and they are having a 10% off sale. So it was $48.40 shipped from Lift Supports. I can't wait for them to show up.

Nice job. Hit us with a part number. I have 2 trucks with bad upper tailgate supports.

hatch supports

The part #20150/SG329006. But you don't really need it. There is a drop down menu on their web page starting with make, then model, then year. It is quite easy and the web page is simple to navigate.

Mine showed and only took about 15 minutes to swap out. They work like a champ.

Is this for a pair or each?

are you saying you reused your rear struts as a hood lift?

yea really
