The only gripe I have with my "new" GX is the rear door. I miss having a hatch to sit under or for loading things in the rain. The swing out door is really my only gripe.
I know there are some plusses to it like adding a table or being able to reach father into the vehicle but I'm wondering if there is any sot of cover that exists to take the place of a hatch? Something that possibly is retractable and mounts to the roof rack?

Obviously it would sit above the rear door when in opened position and provide shade and rain cover. But be able to retract back when the vehicle is in motion. Kind of like a mini version of an rv awing, if that makes sense? Would be great to have when parked for longer periods of time or if you're using a door mounted table to cook with.
