i covet a rear bumper for my '71 pig that will hold a 33" tire, a jerry can, license plate and my high lift, as i am not a great fabricator or welder i hope to find one already made somwhere...sor, maf, coolcruisers are all no-go's for what i seek....anyone know of someone who could build this or a distributor that makes one for our unique rides?

mookie check ironpigoffroad.com they do stuff just for the piggy. Never checked through their site real hard myself because I like to fab my own stuff. If you cant find anything theres some guys that are good at making stuff on the board you might just post and ask and see if somebody would be willing to make something for you. I am going to do some work to my rear bumper later this summer I keep bending the ends and crunching in my rear end with it. I would be more then willing to try and build you something as long as you pay for the materials and all. But it would be a while, anyway sorry to go on but keep checking.

thanks clem, that's a cool site, i had no idea that anyone out there was specifically making stuff for the pig....wish i lived closer to you, would love to help fab some stuff with you and learn more about it

ps. your pig is rad, are you going to put bigger tires on it?

Thanks man, fabbing stuff is half the reason I got it. I love doing that kind of stuff especially the welding.
I'll get bigger tires at some point those still have like 80% tread so i need to wear them down first. I'll probably get a couple inches lift in a yr or 2 and drop 33's or something on then.

so i called ironpigoffroad.com this morning and ordered a rear bumper, he's custom making me exactly what i wanted (with the jerry can holder) and for like $50 less than the regular bumper/tire carrier that's on his site, super nice guy and sounds like bombproof construction. i'm meeting him at the tellico next weekend to pick it up, so i'll let y'all know what it looks like and post some pics when i get it installed and painted.

You won't be disappointed with Lance's stuff. He is a great fabricator and a terrific person! He will do you right with your purchase :)

The guy you are dealing with is Lance Williams. He is a great guys and a very good fabricator. He is a huge fan of the FJ55 and is very well known in the Iron Pig scene. Short of building one yourself I think Lance is the way to go. Be sure to post some pics once you are doen with the project...
