Hey All,
I'm in the process of changing my rear rotors and pads on a 98 UZJ100.
I got the right rear done no problem, but the left rear is giving me hell.
I noticed there is a traditional brake cylinder that pushes the pad into the rotor. I also noticed that part of the brake slides back/forth on two rails. How much is that part of the brake suppost to slide? The right rear slid with ease, and I could actually seperate that part from the brake. The left rear is not slideing at all, and seems to be hindering my ability to put the caliper back on the rotar.
So, basically, I am unable to seperate the pads enough to get the brake onto the rotar.
...and yes, i did drain some fluid and push the cylinder all the way in.
Any help would be greatly appreciated??
