Both. The pins were a little dry but not so bad. Re greased we'll see. But I mean from New to dead in 3 monthsWhat do you mean by chewed up? Wearing unevenly or wearing too quickly? Could be a seized pin or seized caliper.
ImNot sure how the proportioning valve works in these, is it mechanical like an 80 series or electronic? My mechanic said the abs thing was a possible culprit. Is this a known issue with these? Bad sensors io something?Isn't there an equalizer valve in rear lines? They can fail if someone has really stood on the brake pedal to long. Might be making the ABS pulse all the time?

No rust on the pins, just some old grease I cleaned off before regreasing, they were just a little dry. I don't have any pin retainers on mine though, part number?Buy New Pins , forget the grease , the rust pitting is a texture greased or not
dont forget the Pins retainer hair pins , total under $25 in parts from dealer , dont even think twice just do it , its your brakes and safety
