I just replace the calipers and pads with Napa reman. It comes with these two clips that I have no idea where they go. There are two per caliper. They weren't on the calipers that I took out. Any ideas?

They are wear indicators, or "squealers". They clip onto the outer corner of the steel backer with the tag facing the rotor. When the pad wears down far enough they rub on the rotor and make a squeaking or squealing noise.

As long as you check your brakes every time you rotate your tires, you should never need them; because you'll catch the brake wear and change the pads on time. You do rotate your tires, don't you ?

Mine's more of a crawler, so the wheels are off enough that I check it. I'll leave them off. Appreciate the response.
