Hi Folks,
My wife’s 2006 LC (100 series) has had a lot of rear AC issues and in order to avoid throwing more money at it my garage has recommended capping the two lines (leaking straight out anyway). My issue is that one line measures 8mm OD, for which a cap kit is available, and the other is 18 mm OD, which is nowhere online to my search. I am working through options to TIG the lines shut, but this has been a process to set up. I would love to find a cap that fits the 18 mm line and deliver it to my shop and end this so that we can get some ac up front. Any thoughts on best practices here or a link to an 18mm cap would be appreciated. TIA!
Jason

I had the caps, and they failed. I ended up tig welding them shut. I made some plugs to weld to that went inside the tube and I was able to do a beefy lap joint. I'm not a great aluminum welder but it survived a 1200 mile road trip last weekend.
