Real time help: Tuning/Dead Cylinders

Real time problem.

Back ground. 73, all original, rebuilt engine, new wiring.

Having an issues with a rich exhaust. Working my way back to the rebuilt carb but was canceling out other issues before diving into it. Engine will idle (somewhat rough) without feathering gas but fumes are potent.

1. Compression on all cylinders is 140-135

2. Spark from plugs and direct from wires purple in color

3. 153624 firing order

Unique issues is that pulling wires from cylinders 1-4 cause the engine to bog down but when the wires are pulled form 5 and 6 the engine continues to idle.

Any Suggestions???

Sounds like 5 and 6 aren't firing. When you pull those plugs are they soaked in gas?

Little wet.

The weird thing is when I pull the plug and find a ground I am getting good spark from both the plug and from the wire.
