My last three.

102 was a sad and painful read. Really insightful to the clusterfxxx of 9-11. Thanks for the heads up on this one Andy.
One Day in September was eye opening to how inept the German police were during the 72 Olympics with the Israeli hostage crisis.
American Ulysses was one of my favorite biographies I’ve read in a while. Truly fascinating man.

Read this little book in 2 days on the beach.
About a uprising in Calcutta by the Muslims against the English in 1756 in Calcutta.
The English mostly had their heads up their asses.
They get overrun-and the Muslims throw 120 of them in a 14x14 cell for a night. 22 come out the next day.

Old book. Published in 06. Somehow I’d forgotten that he was WWII pilot and AF RSV Officer. Probably already posted but didn’t check. Not sure if his popularity says more about him as a person or the US as a society back the. Interesting read.

Old news...bout time you caught up:

Legend and Fearless by Eric Blehm

Read Legend yesterday on the beach...unbelievable story. Fearless is on tap for today. Have The Only Thing Worth Dying For too if I don't burn out on Blehm.

Never read him. What's the genre ?

Fearless= bad ass!
Only thing worth dying= cool read; lots of really intense parts!

Hell, I'm slow too. Just started reading Harrison Scott Key's book.

^ not a light read, but research-based (and somewhat bipartisan) reflection on viewpoint intolerance and lack of mental toughness. Good.

^Part history, part social commentary and part economics. Superb
