RCA cable length from head unit to amp?

I read through all the relevant threads and couldn't find an answer for how long the RCA cables need to be to run from the head unit to the amp. I'm ordering cables with a Sony XAV-AX100 and don't want them too short, or much too long. 10', 12', 17'? Thanks!

I run two One meter long RCA (3.3”) down from the radio into the shifter coverage area and then down to the right side and right into the Amp, yes Two fosgate’s

Just remember is not that much space in there so the shorter the better..
