Another super-annoying, non-Lexus like rattle coming from the back. You could hear it from the rear driver's side seat, but only when you got up to 40+ MPH. Didn't find anything here on 'MUD specifically, but found a thread on CL that explained it, once I finally found the rattle
and was looking for a part number.
I tried the usual suspects, top rear shock nut and bushings, spare tire loose, rear upper and lower control arms, KDSS bushings, gas cap, bottle jack, rear door strut (which IS loose and lightly rattles, but you can only hear it when riding in the cargo area), door latch parts misaligned, etc, etc. Nothing. Was about to take apart the e-brake, and see if that was it. When riding in the back it was most noticeable when listening down into the jack compartment (with jack removed).
Was loosening lug nuts to get to the e-brake when I hit the plastic fender liner at the rear of the wheel well, and lo-and-behold, totally loose. Banged on it, and sure enough, that was the culprit. Tried for a minute to find part numbers for the crappy plastic clips that hold it in, and gave up and went with 2 short stainless screws and washers up top, and a 8x1.25 short bolt at the bottom with lock washer and Loctite.
Problem solved.
Here's what it sounded like.
CL thread for reference.

GX - 2nd Gen (2010-2023) - #Rattle in #Left Rear Corner - It took a second trip to Koons Lexus of Wilmington to solve, but the rattle is gone. It was a very quiet sound, which was only noticeable on smooth roads so it probably was caused by air moving the plastic panels in the wheel well. It...
