My cargo trim panels (the large rear quarter panel ones) are beat to s***, been debating whether or not to coat them with Raptor Liner. Never used the stuff, but seems like it should adhere fine with the proper prep. Has anyone done something similar or have any insight into the matter?

Found lots of posts on lining the floor and other metal parts, but not much about plastic trim...

Another option is Plastidip. A few members here like it because when it gets scratched, you can peel it off and reapply. You can go back to paint if you like as well.

Once you put Raptor Liner on, there’s going back, from what I’ve read.

Checkout this member’s @Box Rocket video showing plastidip used on his fenders.

I considered it but would prefer something that doesn’t scratch instead of just planning to peel/reapply. I’ll never sell the truck so would prefer something resilient and permanent.

Great video reference though, I just watched that today. Adam’s 80 is why I bought mine years back.

My whole LC is raptor lined. I really like it. Very easy to clean and easy DYI paint. I like the spray gun over the spray. My LC is a daily driver, and some overlanding. I don't crawl so not sure about dents but the paint is pretty tough

I have used raptor liner and monstaliner both, I can tell you that in my experience raptor is much more brittle and prone to chipping and cracking. Monstaliner is slightly softer and more pliable so I think it would be a much better choice. I monstalined a plywood drawer system and used it hard for a year with no chips loading and unloading my 70lb toolbox frequently. Also did my coffee mug and 3years later not a scratch or chip. Everything I’ve had raptor on, including the roof I had professionally sprayed, has chips or is flaking.

I agree about raptor vs monsta.

That’s great feedback, thanks guys. I’ll start looking into Monsta instead. I’m definitely planning to spray with a gun, not a can. Thinking I’ll eventually do the drawers the same too.
