I have the Ron David Racing all aluminum radiator which emptied my wallet by $1k. It’s a two row where each row is 1-5/8” (IIRC) so it was about 3/8” thicker than stock. It also has 12 fins per inch vs OEM 7 fins per inch. I seriously attribute this radiator to saving my ass a few times when I was going thru my overheating issues.
I don't know why but I was thinking you had a Griffith radiator... hmmm

I too have the TRD SC setup but I don’t have cooling problems lilt that even though I am here in the Sonoran Desert. Have you upgraded your fan, fan clutch, and fan clutch juice? I am running the Koyo 1918 A aluminum radiator, and I think my next one will likely be a TYC unit for just a wee bit more cooling when I wheel in the summer.
yes I have aluminium KOYO , my fan clutch is new I did not modified silicon viscosity yet, do you recommend?

Absolutely recommend upgrade to silicone fluid. Lots of us are running 30,000 + CST. Also swap in a 1991/2 3fe fan. Moves more air than the TRD ringed fan. There used to be someone making a 15% smaller water pump pulley so the fan and water pump turn faster. I have been running this setup for over 50,000 miles with no problems.
Ooopps, forgot to ask: are you running the OEM fan shroud? It is CRITICAL to good cooling on the 1fz.

I leave my AC on year around. I'd check to make sure you're getting good air flow through the AC condenser. Make sure it's not caked with dirt. Also, moving to a lower viscosity fan clutch (blue fan clutch) made a big difference for me. The fan "roars" now where it didn't before. If I pop the hood open while the engine is hot and running, it's a windy place to be.

In all, I think it's a combination of many things that are all attributed to age. Flush, new radiator, new thermostat, new water pump, new hoses, new fan clutch. All together, it runs like a factor fresh cooling system - because it basically is.
I did the same thing. my entire cooling system is new and still cant get under 190 in the winter and the summers are around 200. then again 115 degrees in the shade is common here so I'm really not surprised at the running temps...

dude I want to the extent that I replace all components related to cooling even head gasket is new , still chasing this mysterious problem during the summer time only , can you pl verify is AC condencer very host?

I have new blue fan (no mods), TRD fan, and OEM shroud.

since you play in practically the same temperatures as I do, what is the running temperatures youre getting? ive seen mine anywhere from 190 to abit over 200...

Dude, those are the NORMAL temps for these engines. That’s what I see and I am very happy with those numbers. Not gunna hurt the engine or the oil. If your not happy with your A/C temps then fine tune the A/C.

yes , I be happy too but I see 221*

don't get me wrong, I'm not complaining compared to how it was when I got it... PO mixed red and green...
