radiator for small block conversion

since the conversion was not done by me i am curious what you all did for the lower connection on the radiator??

it appears the connector on the bottom of the radiator is smaller then the line coming from the water pump.

i guess the previous owner put a small piece of hose on it to take up the difference which i did not notice till i took the raditor out.
it is a stock radiator i would assume.
reason i ask is i tried to put a hose like the way the PO did and it will not stop leaking.

i guess i could take it to a shop and have the put a larger inlet onto the radiator or does napa or someone make a hose that goes from larger to smaller.

According to Mud Tech Trivia this is the correct hose to mate to the stock radiator.

Looks to be a larger opening on one end. This si the one I was going to start with on my SBC setup.

thanks for the info guys....... as it is right now i just used one of the flexable hoses.. i will stop and check out the part number listed and see where it gets me.
