Hi from Italy,

I' ve got LC78 Hzj. I 've changed motor from 1HZ to 1HD-T.
Untill 100.000km no problem, now I've broken the trasmission R151F.
According to you R151F the torque does not resist?

I put new R151F another one time, or replace with H151F?

Hi,

I' ve broken bearing for imput shaft front and case trasmission...140.000km, 100.000 with 1HDT.
The toyota is used in sahara travels.
I've prooved the new R151F part time, good price. In Italy the manual H151F is rare....H151F part time unavailable.

wow, you broke the bearing and case! Did the bearing seize - was there an oiling problem? Usually 5th gear and the output shaft is where the problems start.
 
excuse me, bearing the output shaft, case (an inner support).
I've problem to 5th gr, the 5th did not enter....the trasmission made hard only 5th....
new oil from 3000km, changed oil trasmission regularly every 40milakm.
Is better H151F!
 
yes the h151 is a stronger transmission, it is better for the 1hdt and turbo 1hz - but i use the r151 and only put 10,000 kms on it every year.
