i just put my rdb conversion together and put the housing under the truck and i found the stock rims to rub the calipers. is it known that stock rims from a 70 drum brake truck will not fit over the chevy truck rotors, monte carlo calipers using posers bracket? Or is it an issue i have with the positioning of the brackets?

i am aware the front brake conversion will not allow the stock non-disc rims to fit, but i didnt find any info about the rears using the search.

with that being said, i have a spare set of rims i can throw on to see if they fit, but for future reference when i get permanent rims i want, with the fj60 front rotors/knuckles/calipers, what rim size should i get that will accomodate the discs on all 4 corners?

hope this isnt a much asked question, but i tried searching.

is it possible to grind the calipers slightly to gain the clearance needed??

i dont want to do that since the areas that are hitting are right around the caliper pins, and dont want to weaken that. I will take a better look and see how much is scraping tomorrow.

You need welded, not riveted stock wheels. Those would be from a '76>
