Quarter Panel Measurement needed ...'81 FJ40

I need a measurement from amby door opening to seam of quarter panel and pillar.

Trying to fit my new complete quarters to tub with hardtop on.

Was told that I may need to trim the quarter to allow fitment of hardtop.

From the picture, it's obvious I will need to trim quite a bit but don't want to trim to much.

Can anyone help with measurements of their stock '81 quarter panel?

How bout closeup pics of where your quarter meets the line of the hardtop?

Still needing measurement from seam where Quarter Panel meets the Pillar where hardtop pole slides in all the way around to the Amby Door Opening.

Anybody?

Just went out and measured my '81 for you. I got 56 1/4" from the seam all the way around to the amby door opening. Hope that helps. Jim

Very nice quality, but I am having the hardtop fitment troubles.

It is nerve racking having to cut perfectly good quarters!

Someone once told me...."measure twice and cut once!"
