probably not missing, just worn out. Seems like Phil says he can feel heat coming from the engine compartment when driving barefoot, that’s when he knows ro replace it.

also how i noticed, especially mid summer. I will do mine... eventually....

Still going to work myself, how do I get stuck with quarantine projects? Not Cruiser but still quite a project!...

Welp, I just did some math and found out that as soon as I get my rear bumper, I'll be WAY over the OME's ideal weight for my current suspension set up. So I'll probably be ordering up some OME 2850Js to replace my 2850s and 2863s to replace my 2860s. Less than 5k miles on them total (my "build" progressed much faster and much further than I had initially planned). Will likely replace all my radius arm bushings and add castor correction plates, unless I feel like going the gucci route with the DVS radius arms for $400ish more. Cruiser Outfitters says that with this suspension set up I may need to change some things with my front panhard bar, anyone have any experience with that?

Rough math for anyone interested (all numbers are approximations):

ARB Bumper (80lbs) + Warn VR10 Steel (75lbs) = 155lbs not counted to total

Spare wheel/tire: 90lbs
Yakima Skyrise 2 Small: 95lbs
Bowfin Roof Rack: 60lbs
WKOR Sliders: 135lbs
Misc.: 100lbs
- Snorkel
- Maxtrax
- Interior "ceiling"
- Maxtrax
- Eezi-Awn awning
- Mounts for everything
- Etc.
SUBTRACT third row seats: -90lbs

Total Weight "Empty" (no camping gear, kitchen, sleeping bags, etc.): 390lbs / 178kg

Add 175lbs for a dual swing rear bumper: 390lbs + 175lbs = 565lbs / 257kg

Add 80lbs for 2 Jerry Cans of fuel to put on the rear bumper: 645lbs / 294kg

Add necessary camping gear for 7 day trip: VERY conservative 150lbs: 795lbs / 362kg
- Rtic 65 cooler 75% full: 80lbs
- Chairs / propane camp stove / kitchen equipment
- Recovery straps / winch dampener / axe / shovel / tools / extra fluids
- Food

And this doesn't even take into account any other passengers, dogs, etc...

I generally try to keep things as light as possible and was never planning on an RTT, but for the $300 I picked it up for it was a no brainer to at least try.

If following just these numbers, I will already be coming close to OMEs recommended 400kg "optimum performance" for 2850J & 2863 springs... Goes to show how much attention I have been paying to my current set up.
