The SOS is coming by in the morning to give my trailer a vin. It might even be legal by pys.

I gusseted the rear axle, and tore down the rear 3rd member after i dug chunks out of the housing. All bearings, races, and teeth aren't missing chunks. So my guess is they are left overs from all the other rear ends I've ended in that housing. So together it went. 4runner is ready!

Anyone have a trans jack I can borrow? I can't get the tcases to balance on my jack and they're way to heavy and awkward to lift by hand.

Does anyone plan to come back from PYS early? Friday or sooner? Jenn has to be back for school s*** on Sat morning....I told her not to get a job. She is also out completely for South Dakota.

BTW, she did get a job with Carl Sandburg HS, as a PE teacher and coaching some stuff as well.

Thanks dude. I ended up running to harbor freight and got one for $65.

Had to cut the exhaust, but if all goes well tonight I'll be driving it to the exhaust shop tomorrow to fix it. The dumb ass put the exhaust in the wrong place anyways.

Tcases are in. Truck starts and idles fine. Trying to make sure that the temp is ok. It started getting hot but that may have been a lack of coolant causing it. Should have a better idea tomorrow.

Trans leaks out of the trans dip stick hole. I gotta get up in there and make sure that it's all the way in.

No oil leaks so far. PYS is looking like its going to have a v8 80 rockin around.

Driving it. If it needs to be towed, it ain't coming. Swap is almost done. Back to the garage!
