Richard is makeing new front drive shafts for me, gave him the mesurements Sat. He calls after work tonight and says he is on the way up to see if the first one fits, too nice sure didn"t expect him to deliver them and not this quick. But as usual, he looks at flange on the third and says he has never seen a round flange on a cruiser, my original 73 front is round, but any way the bolt pattern is not the same. I figured it was a 4-speed pattern, guess not. We figure it is a mini truck. will these fit on a cruiser third? Will a mini third bolt into a cruiser housing? The third isfrom the set I bought local with the lock right in it. It all bolted up fine. 2.16" from hole to hole in a square pattern.

This is the type of s*** that is driving me nuts trying to get this done in time.

Congrats Jenn,

The only lc axle that can fit a mini 3rd is an 80 front.

As far as i know all the drive flanges are interchangeable. Though it is easy to drill your flange to accept richs shaft (thats what she said), since they center themselves with out bolts.

True. Wouldn't be possible without your electrical genius.

Nice! What do you have left?

Put it all back together. Still have to build linkages, front bumper, fix sliders, rebuild winch. Not everything may get done, but I'm going to try.

bad ground wire from block to battery.

I don't have an EE, so when I say it's a engine ground side problem I get "I think I need new cables"

Yea, I didn't realize how little corrosion is needed to have a bad cable.

Work on chryslers for a while. You'll see what corrosion in wires can do for you.

That's funny s*** right there... with a plastic spork.

He likes to try to kill himself with utensils. He was begging me for one on Saturday night.

I think it was a brake spoon that Todd needed, not an eating spoon :D

Should I bring a bunch of sporks to PYS next week, and distribute them when appropriate?

I hope I wasn't responsible for harboring a yammerer. I really don't recall what direction it was coming from.

Naw. Most of it was coming from the teenagers. I have a low tolerance for teenagers by the weekend
