Ive been thinking we should set up base camp at Flat Nasty and commute to Washita when we feel like it for a day run(s). That way we get all the benefits of flat nasty camp ground, the river, the rc course, the general awesomeness, etc... And we can head over to Washita when we feel like it to hit A4, spotters alley, etc... And if anyone wants to go more than once they can, I know Clint likes to go to the top bald knob, so he (and anyone else) can now go do that at will.
I will put in my vacation time tomorrow.

I agree with the Flat Nasty base camp idea....

Snooze in the head.....lose the thread!
Just throwing this out there but is there any interest in moving this trip to a better to time of the year? Say September Octoberish? Can't justify wasting vacation time for MO in the summer unless I would be going to the lake of the ozarks. Why the hell did this event even stay in June after the first year????
Believe it or not we come back for one day after Mammary Day. 5/29.
First full week of June would give me time to pack my s*** this year.
And by first week I mean leave on Thursday of the week before, of course.
Because I (and Jenn) can't take a week off of work. I can only do it during the times I'm laid off.

I get 14 days a year for sick days but I can't use them for vacation. After a couple I need to start proving I'm sick.
And I can't just show movies for a week and a half. If a sub could teach shop classes they wouldn't be a sub, they'd be teaching somewhere.
As a result I have 140 sick days in the bank since 2000. I can use up to 368 sick days toward retirement. By the time I get to retirement I'll have that many unless I have some major illness or injury before then.

For charter member Gumby. If someone else can do that thing he does with his tongue, then Ill consider leaving him at home.
I can't do that thing.....only receive it
