No. Miatas are excellent racers.

On any given day there are more Miatas on race tracks than any other make by a considerable margin.

Some of those racers are even straight males.

The MR2 is awesome! It is a fun ass car to drive and I can't wait to test out this new turbo I have on it. Hopefully it's fast enough to avoid grumpy gumby's rock throwing.

Any thoughts on what day you might hit washita?
I won't travel back and forth between the two due to gas prices. I also intend on spending a couple of days at washita so my trip will either start or end there.

You may not be the only one...I know IF Clint goes this year he would want to spend more than one day at Washita.

We haven't really had a discussion about Washita this year, but for me....I feel like at least a one day trip is in order. If we only do one day, I'm guessing people will want to go on Wednesday or Thursday. If people want to do 2 days then it gets tricky.

While it would make sense to do a two day trip on back to back days, a lot of people don't want to camp at Washita. Washita's campground is sad, depressing, and expensive. I don't think a lot of people want to break down camp, head to Washita, break down again, and head to FN.... I could be wrong. Going to Washita to end the trip last year was damned depressing!

The other option for a 2 day could be an early visit, like Monday, and a late visit, like Thursday or Friday. I know on the surface it sounds inefficient to make that commute twice, but I would rather do that then say goodbye to FN camp/river, for Washita!...Plus, the drive through MTNF is pretty nice...I may be alone in that....

Or we can always start at Washita for a couple days and spend the rest of the trip at Flat Nasty....

Keep in mind, if we decide to sleep at Washita we are tempting gods early eviction system, which we seem to qualify for every year!

This is the biggest change to this years PYS....NOW is the time to speak up, so we can come up with a plan everyone likes.

We are not going to do the whole week because I want to hit parts of the Katy trail with the bicycles. We will work around what everyone else wants as far as washita goes. I was just wondering on a day.

Not that anyone gives a fxxx but, we will be hitting the Katy trail 06/02 and spending at least one night at a campground near the trail. Arrival at Flat nasty could be Sunday or Monday and play by ear from there. After washita we will head home.
