Looking for experience ideas about pulling wire through the head liner to the dash.

GOAL - I would like to pull three 22g wires through the headliner above the windshield. Up through where the rear-view mirror bolts to the roof, over to the drivers A-pillar, past the hole where the sun visor goes and down into the dash.

PROBLEMS -
1) I have no idea whats up there and have never seen pictures of what it looks like.
2) I like my head liner and dont what to tear it up so must move slowly.
3) not even sure what tools to use without tearing up big holes

Any experience doing this?

Thanks!!
Rob

I have run such wires, but with the headliner off.

I think the chances of doing this with the headliner on would be zero, but I'm prepared to be impressed if someone has done it!

Thanks Mate - I'm that kinda stupid person to try it. Do you have pictures of what it looks like with the head liner off? I'm sure there are some in here somewhere!

I do not have such photos to hand at the moment, but I still haven't installed a headlining and could definitely take a detailed set of photos for you tonight if you dont find any sooner.

A light thread, some compressed air, a vacuum.. I guess where there's a will there's a way.. do report back!

I will post photos tonight if no one else links any in the meantime.

Mind you I'll have to pull the wire the opposite direction!! :bounce::worms:
