Burned/ melted Wire

Folks, can someone stoo over the thread, who has also melted negative wires unfer the drivers kick pannel? Dont know why?

Yes, they do look melted. Probably from too much current.

Hey Folks, after not looking for weeks at the J6 i kind a pressure myself to dick in again.
I Have still following Problems:
- charging nearly 32V during 1800RPM [24V] System
- Filter and Charging Light lightning the whole time after starting the engine
- Radio not working
- emergency turn lights/hazzard not working
...
Kand find the cjarging light relay where it shouöd suposed to sit, Fuses checked and i dont have a proper wiring diagram. Maybe someone can help me out....

I don’t know much about 24v system but what about the voltage regulator or coils the batteries have been charged wrong so they are putting out more than they are supposed to?
