Yeah, i looked these up over the weekend at a cruiser gathering to recommend to another attendee and saw the price had doubled. IMO, still worth the price if your 40 lives outside.

Found the fatal flaw with my cover- the zipper, which is totally unnecessary imo.
The problem is now I’ve gotten used to covering it so I want to find a decent/affordable one without a zipper.

I've had 3 deployed since early April, other than some holes at sharp edges (my fault for not softening these areas somehow from abrasion), I have had zero complaints or issue. No indication of zipper failure yet on mine. Sorry to hear yours didn't last.

[Living in the Past]

Been about two and half months since install cover. 118° here today. Three of the bottom tie downs threads have come loose. Using 1" metal spring clips from HB and holding the top without issue. Side zipper has not been a problem.

I think on mine some of the issue may be that it’s got a bikini top so there’s lots of room for wind to flap the cover around and possibly bust the zipper.
The cover itself has never blown off the truck though, so that’s good.
