PS Pump Identification

This pump was purchased used well over 20 years ago ... I believe it is the usual mini truck pump from 79-85 from the ones I compared it to... I have it installed on my PS conversion 74' fj40

It had the reservoir mounted on the fender originally and when we put it on we modified the can to fit on top of the pump

I think it is blocking the number

Need to replace this as the bearing sh!t the bed and pulley is wobbling

Am I right? Is this a mini truck ps pump? ... my friend who did the conversion used to have people bring him pump and boxes so we didn’t take it off of what it came from... want to make sure i replace with the same

Yeah looks like a mini pump, they are super easy and cheap to rebuild unlike the lc pump

I went for it and ordered one... yes it is the same

@chesshircat you would happen to know the pn on the rebuild kit do you?

I will at some point (maybe this next century ) open it up and see just what it needs

There must be an inner bearing and outer ... I think it’s the inner that’s bad you can pivot the shaft

Go to rock auto and search the kit for mid 80 to mid 90 4cyl truck. The rebuild kit is from Edelman and there are several bearings manufacturers to choose from, I used skf. If you can’t find it let me know and I can search through my crap and find it. The rebuild is just replacing rubber o rings and one bearing.
