pros/cons of single v double swing out? (1 Viewer)

Double swing outs for many practical reasons as you outlined. The PITA factor with kids will just make them be more organized to open and close it less.
Also ensure you can simply remove the swing arms when back in DD mode.

That is a good point. Does anyone know if the 4x4labs swing arms are removable? Easily removable, or is it a PITA as well?

I didn't see it mentioned here but as I indicated in the early linked thread. If you tow a trailer it's highly unlikely you'll be able to open a single swing arm with a trailer attached.

With a double I can, but did have to add some length to the tongue of my camper. The propane tank hit my spare on hard right turns. Now I have just enough space.

Personally I don't mind having to open them all the time to acces the cargo. I can do it with one hand so MEH.
