I checked out the search threads about this.

Anyway, so there's no aftermarket bracket/kit for the proportioning valve so the rear brakes are good to go after a lift?

I ask because I'm still debating going from OME J springs to Slees 6". I expect to have to tinker with the valve again.

But trying to theorize driving the wagon everyday on 37"s, especially when I have to get clients in. There are 35" BFG muds on there now.

Of course if gas keeps going back up I may be buying a Prius.

Any pictures of homemade brackets?

I asked this question a couple weeks ago and was told that you need to lower the bracket a bit and reset the clearance. Cant find the thread but get a FSM and take it from there. Maybe some of the talent can chime in and fill in the blanks.

Hi,

There is a proportioning valve bracket you can get from Northwest Off Road for 2 lift heights. Even though the bracket is not advertised for Land Cruisers in their current catalog (for pickups and 4Runners), I found the same bracket listed for a FZJ 80 Cruiser in one of their old catalogs with the same part number as the one listed in their current catalog. The part number from NW Off Road Catalog #23 is NO9330 for the 2-4" lift and NO9331 for 5-7" lift. I used NO9330 for the 2.5" OME lift I put on my crusier. The bracket made up the approximate 2" difference and I did not have to adjust my proportioning valve.
Bolted right up, and the rear brakes are working like they are supposed to. Downey Off Road sells basically the same bracket with their lift kits but they won't sell it seperately from the lift. I recommend the Northwest Off Road Bracket and it is I think around 10-15 dollars.

LukeO,

Why not just measure and make one. How old are those J springs you have? Just in case you decided to go 6" Slee, I would like to get those Js from you.
