Gents, I have had the misfortune to purchase a good looking 1981 FJ40 car where many of the underlying parts are shot to bits and need replacing. I decided to service the diffs and check their conditon which required me to remove the front and rear drive / propeller shafts. To my horror they have been deliberately smashed about to stop them from extending / contracting and one of them looks like it has been cut down and rewelded from something else. Thankfully the diffs were relatively clean but I now need new prop shafts. Any ideas where I can source them gratefully received. Thanks

I don't have anything. Probably worth getting a Tom woods or going to a drive shaft shop and getting something custom made.

Tom Woods for the win. Not worth with messing around with used stuff with junk slip yokes with the cost of shipping these days.

Thanks for letting me know. I think Im going to go down the "Tom Woods" route once I shoe horn my new engine and gearbox in.
