The switches are from 4x4 mods and seem to be decent quality, but time will tell. The 3 in one gauges are from a streetrod company called haneline. They are new and not advertised yet butthe rest of their stuff is first rate. Working on getting the harness on the chassis today and will have it done this weekend. I had already taken a lot of the crap out of it but now I am fitting it to the chassis. Got the tail lights and modified the harness for them plug and play. More pics tomorrow.

The switches look like they are Carling. If so, they are a good quality switch. I have been using them since 1993 in many different things. Waytek sells them, along with many other great wiring supplies. Caterpillar has pretty much been using that style of switch for many controls in there equipment since 1997. They are a waterproof switch. Mine have been rained on and pressure washed for many years with no ill-effects.

Project looks good man!

looks good, please more pics. I had forgotten about this build-up as I didnt post b/f when I read through everything. Found it tonight and finished it up!

The switches do look like Carling's but they do not have the Carling label on them so I'm sure that they are look a likes. They have good amp ratings and I will be using them in low amperage stuff anyway. I will get some more pics posted tonight after todays wiring.

Oh well. Sunday? It got too dark around here. I did get the front and rear lighting wired as well as the headlights and got about halfway through fitting the harness that I did back last winter. I will probably start it tomorrow to check things out.

Free Beer!!! Tomorrow.

No pics really. I did take some but not because I got anything accomplished. I did start the truck today and tried to figure out if the factory water pump will be able to push/pull water all the way to the rear where the radiator is. I am waiting on a small aluminum tank to mount high on the engine for filling and bleeding of air, so I will have to wait until I get that system up and running before moving to pump issues. I dicked with that all day so I couldn't get the wiring done for the electric fan, but I did find out that a GM O2 sensor will work fine with a dummy load sensor for the 2nd O2 sensor. I have not gotten any codes, but I haven't driven it yet either.

Bled the cooling system and let it run for 1 hour today at idle with no fan. It wouldn't run over 190 degrees. Got all the rear wiring done for the fuel system, electric fans, etc. Todays pics.

Two quick questions, Gary:

1) Is that a purple steering wheel?

2) Can I have the truck, as a gift, between buddies, for free?
