More from today. The black primer is the epoxy that was sprayed when it came out of the stripping tank. Grey is what we shot on after working the highs and lows. Not much bondo I might add. Very little on the dash and cowl and even less on the top sections.

Looking good. Wish it were going to make the Roundup!

We got a lot done yesterday. I say we because I ended up doing most of the work and my painter buddy came along behind me and shot color, then I cleared it. Painted the cab, bib, roof section and the hood. Today I hope to get the bed done and paint the bezel, dash insert, and roof panel off white. I still have to paint the hinges, etc but its coming along. The Sage looks awesome in person.

"Sage" is Antique Sage Pearl, the same color as the "Silver" 40th Anniversary Edition FZJ-80s...same color as Janae's 80. You have to look close to catch the green, most call it River Rock or the like.

Very cool. That is looking sharp. Can't wait to check it out in normal natural lighting.

Moab then?

This is a "must-see" for me.....;)

you have time Gary you can get her to the round up yet

paint look great as always

I picked up the body today and dropped it at the LineX guys. They are going to use black on the underside of the bed and cab, and color match the inside of the cab and bed. I am also going to spray the back of the cab and the panels inside the hardtop for sound and insulation. I mounted the bib and fender uprights today and stuck the hood on. I never thought to do the mock up with the hood on and so I didn't even think about the possibility of it not clearing the intake, but it does, by about 2". Man this things going to be a beast. Its huge, may not fit under the garage door.

That is beautiful, and the best part is that it looks almost stock in a way.

I would kill for that kind of skill

Gary - I'm at a loss for words... Awesome - I can't wait to see the finished product.
