nice. looking forward to more!

I cant wait to see this come together.

What did you ever work out about the 4wd actuator?

Alright got some pics for you guys...As you can see I got all the body mounts cut off and its almost ready to roll under the body. As for the vac assembly, I have to cut it in half reweld it and add a dust boot. I will post a pic when I do it. I think if I was running a toy box I could get away with out it because it would push the t-case back further where it would clear better.

Here is my brother finishing up wiring his project 40s wiring harness. Better him then me:D

As for the surfboard...will do. Just gotta finish glassing the bottom of it.

Edit. the picture manager wont load so I will add some pics later...

Dude, you've had too many Cruisers into and out of your yard getting taken apart, chopped up, swapped around, converted, etc. I have been following this thread but I got confused with the madness. What is getting what again???

Rolled the whole thing... I was just huffing those spray cans under the tarp:D

All kidding aside.. I rolled it on with a 2 inch sponge roller after sanding the whole frame with 200grit. The spray cans where mostly clear coat cans for other crap I was spraying.

Haha...

( the short answer) This is an fj80 frame, axles, suspension getting thrown under a 62, that is getting a 6inch slee lift and an h41.

You need a diesel for this build. 1HDT or somethin'.

i've been watching this thread for a while and i KNEW it was a super creative ambitious project but i forgot just exactly what was happening here too.

thanks for the reminder!

keep up the good work...looks like a fun project!

I wiiiiissshhh it was a diesel as well. I was going to get a 4bt for the 80 but instead dropped the money on a 62 and dreamed up this crazy plan...

Alrighty since people kinda forget what is going...

This is an fj80 frame, axles, suspension
all under a 62 body with a BJ dash
60 series head lights and grill
drivetrain is the 3fe/ozzy h41/62 case with manual linkage( twin stick)
Its getting an 6inch slee lift/control arm flip/ cut n turn
37in MTRs on stock 91-92 fj80 wheels
well thats all the big things with all the little details in between...

thanks for all the good words..

Its good. We just took for a drive last night for the first time. He is going to need the beefest track bar in the world. Such a light set up and such a big motor( with soft springs). I though the thing was gonna snap a pinion in the drive way when he got on it. It needs a few tweeks here and there but will be road worthy soon. Swing by when you can, I know working nights woulllldddd suck.

Ill grab some pics tonight when I get home from work..
