Sorry for the delay in updates.
The FJ60 is heading to a friends to shorten the body into the crewcab. And the FJ62 is just about ready to donate its frame to the extension. I decided to go with 24" frame extension. Here is a pic of the 62 as of today.

thanks for the pics...am really looking forward to seeing how this turns out...will be really cool..

The plan is to extend the wheelbase by 24" and cut off any frame beyond the rear leaf spring hanger.
wow extend 24 inches. cant wait to see this one.

Bad News
Well I was hoping that I would never have to make a post like this, but tough economic times have hit and this project is going to have to go.
I will be posting it over in the classifieds with hopes that someone else might be able to do something with it. I appreciate everyone that has been watching and helping out.

That sucks James, but sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do. Hope everything works out for you guys.
It is just hunks of steel after all, and you can always start another project later on when times are better.

We are doing fine. Just have to reprioritize where money is going and the Landcruiser lost. Uncle Sugar just hasn't been as forthcoming with the pay raises, so just have to make due with what he gives.
